We are seeking an accomplished Family Law Attorney with significant experience practicing U.S. family law at a BigLaw firm, prominent law firm, or comparable top-tier legal practice. The attorney will apply their family-law expertise to legal research, case analysis, document review, annotation, and development of high-quality legal content.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and annotate family-law legal documents, pleadings, briefs, agreements, and case files.
- Identify key legal issues, arguments, facts, and potential outcomes in family-law matters.
- Conduct in-depth legal research involving family-law statutes, regulations, rules, and case precedent.
- Prepare clear and accurate legal summaries and analytical commentary.
- Evaluate and critique legal arguments, pleadings, briefs, and other legal materials.
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, inconsistencies, and important legal nuances.
- Analyze complex family-law scenarios and provide well-reasoned legal interpretations.
- Contribute expert insights to the development of high-quality legal training and evaluation materials.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency throughout document review, annotation, and analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers and other legal subject-matter experts in a remote environment.
- Use digital project-management and collaboration tools to manage assignments and deliverables.
- Adapt to evolving project methodologies and technology platforms.
- Deliver high-quality work within established deadlines.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent U.S. law degree.
- Significant professional experience practicing U.S. family law.
- Experience at a BigLaw firm, prominent law firm, or comparable top-tier legal practice.
- Strong understanding of U.S. family-law principles, statutes, procedures, and case law.
- Excellent legal research and legal writing skills.
- Proven ability to analyze complex legal cases and documents.
- Experience reviewing and evaluating pleadings, briefs, agreements, and other legal materials.
- Strong ability to summarize complex legal concepts accurately and clearly.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical-thinking and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling complex or high-value family-law matters.
- Experience with legal document review and annotation.
- Experience preparing detailed legal memoranda, case summaries, or analytical reports.
- Familiarity with legal research databases and case-management platforms.
- Experience working with legal technology or digital collaboration tools.
- Experience contributing to technology-driven legal projects or AI-related legal initiatives.
- Ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and structured manner.
- Comfortable working with multidisciplinary and remote teams.
