About the role
A well-established family law firm in the Doylestown, Pennsylvania area is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its team.
Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, Protection from Abuse (PFA) proceedings, equitable distribution, and related family law litigation.
- Manage cases from intake through resolution.
- Conduct detailed discovery and case preparation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.
- Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
- Active Pennsylvania law license.
- 3–5 years of family law experience.
- Strong legal writing and research skills.
- Experience with discovery and case preparation.
- Courtroom and litigation experience preferred.
- Ability to independently manage family law matters from intake through resolution.
- Strong experience handling a broad range of family law matters and comfortable managing cases from initial intake through resolution.
