About the role
The Family Law Attorney will advise clients, draft legal documents, represent clients in court, and negotiate settlements on family law matters such as divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and related issues.Responsibilities
- Advising clients on family law matters
- Drafting legal documents related to family law
- Representing clients in court proceedings
- Negotiating settlements for family law disputes
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in Washington State
- Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing family law
- Strong knowledge of family law statutes, case law, and court procedures
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential client information with professionalism
- A compassionate and patient approach to client advocacy
