Family Law Attorney

About the Role

A growing and modern law firm focused on delivering strategic, client-centered legal services in family law matters is seeking a Spanish-speaking Family Law Attorney. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to do meaningful work, collaborate with a supportive team, and work directly with clients in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Manage a family law caseload with independence and strategic oversight
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials
• Advise clients on legal strategy and case progression
• Handle contested family law matters including divorce and custody disputes
• Negotiate settlements and litigate when necessary
• Apply Texas Family Code effectively in client representation
• Communicate clearly with clients in both English and Spanish (no translator support)

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in family law, including contested matters
• Active license with the Texas Bar
• Strong courtroom presence and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage cases independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written)
• Experience representing Spanish-speaking clients directly
