- Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings related to divorce, child custody, child support, and other family law matters.
- Manage complex family law cases from start to finish, including legal research, drafting of pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to advise clients on their rights and obligations.
- Provide legal counsel to clients during mediation and settlement negotiations.
- Develop litigation strategies tailored to each client's unique situation.
- Collaborate with our legal team to ensure a comprehensive approach to case management.
- Draft and negotiate settlement agreements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in family law and inform clients accordingly.
- Attend court appearances and effectively argue cases.
- Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
- Proven experience in court appearances, mediation, trial practice, family law, divorce law, child support, custody, divorce cases, and legal writing.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and build client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases with varying degrees of complexity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong sense of professional ethics and integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
