About the role
Coker, Robb & Cannon, Family Lawyers, is seeking a passionate Family Law Attorney to join their dynamic and supportive team in Tarrant County.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for clients in divorces, child custody cases, modifications, enforcements, and more.
- Handle contested hearings, mediations, and negotiations with experience-appropriate mentorship and support.
- Prepare persuasive legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and orders.
- Build strong relationships with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
- Develop case strategies alongside a talented legal team.
Requirements
- 1-7 years of family law or similar litigation experience.
- Confidence in the courtroom with willingness to develop additional skills.
- Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal.
- A talent for multitasking and managing cases efficiently.
- Empathy and interpersonal skills to support clients during sensitive times.
- Familiarity with Tarrant and Denton County courts (preferred).
- Proficiency with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
- Interest in or experience in family law and courtroom litigation.
