Family Law Associate

About the role

This role focuses on a broad range of domestic relations matters, including: Divorce and legal separation matters Custody and parenting plan disputes Child support and maintenance Post-judgment modifications and enforcement Mediation, negotiated settlements, and contested hearings and trials

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements
• Take active roles in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Represent clients in court appearances
• Advise clients on legal strategy, rights, and potential outcomes
• Manage discovery and factual development in contested matters
• Work closely with partners while maintaining responsibility for key portions of cases

Requirements

• 3+ years of family law or domestic litigation experience
• Strong drafting and advocacy skills
• Experience handling divorce, custody, support, and related matters
• Ability to independently manage cases and deadlines
• Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal communication skills

Qualifications

• Missouri licensure or eligibility for admission

• Effective oral advocacy and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills

Pay

$130,000–$150,000 Base Salary + Bonus
