Primary Responsibilities
- Utilize the Family Search and Engagement model and other CCSWW tools when searching for prospective kin-caregivers and missing kin to solicit their interest and commitment to be a part of the child’s life.
- Ensure families are assessed for suitability prior to placement.
- Conduct, analyze and utilize assessments for case planning, reunification and/or placement purposes.
- Facilitate family team meetings to support placement planning.
- Maintain engagement with all family members who committed to be a part of the child’s life.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, required. 2+ years of experience in child welfare with an emphasis in working with children in foster care. Experience in the dynamics of kinship families and special needs children.
- Valid California Driver’s License with a minimum of three (3) years of good driving history and must be approved by the agency’s insurance carrier to drive agency vehicles.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this role is $22.00 - $26.00.
