General Summary
Arena Sports Family Entertainment Center (FEC) Hosts are conduits for customer fun. They greet customers, help with attraction rules and safety protocols, and ensure smooth operations so everyone can enjoy a great time. Qualifications
- Problem Anticipation/ Deductive Reasoning: Ability to anticipate issues and apply logic to resolve them.
- Written Comprehension and Expression: Ability to read, understand, and communicate information effectively.
- Oral Comprehension and Expression: Ability to listen and speak clearly to assist customers.
- Computer Skills: Ability to use software like Word, Excel, and other required by TBCC and regulatory agencies.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Personality Traits: Enthusiastic, friendly, reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to go above and beyond for customers.
- Physical Requirements: Sitting and standing as needed, dealing with various forms of communication, and adapting to frequent changes.
Primary Job Functions
- Complete opening and closing safety checklists for attractions.
- Greet customers and explain safety rules and policies.
- Answer customer questions about attractions, including rules, policies, and hours of operation.
- Adhere to FEC safety rules.
- Set up, clean up, and maintain attractions, including deep cleaning, testing, and fixing equipment.
- Ensure customers follow rules and policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements
- Sit and stand as needed.
- Deal with various forms of communication, including in-person, phone, and email.
- Adapt to frequently changing environments.
- Dealing with unpleasant or angry people requires problem-solving skills.
- Extreme environmental conditions do not exist.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and work weekends.
