Family Engagement Specialist

Our work is challenging, but we strive to create strong teams and love to learn and laugh together!

Responsibilities

• Facilitate family meetings
• Provide in-home support to strengthen families in their homes
• Coach parents to have safe and nurturing time with their children who are placed in DCF custody
• Support parents to meet the needs of their children in the moment
• Call extended family members to explore familial support and create genograms

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred
• Two years of human services experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check required
• Own reliable vehicle with insurance that meets coverage limits required

Schedule

Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. Flexibility to support parents’ individual schedules is desired; we support a healthy work/life balance.

Pay

Compensation: $22.00 – $25.75 hourly, dependent upon experience and education.
