About the role

The Goddard Riverside Community Center and the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies serving approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. Goddard Riverside operates early childhood centers for working families and their children aged 2 to 5 years old, facilitating classroom activities that promote intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth through hands‑on exploration of science, nature, and art.

Responsibilities

• Provide a mixture of individual and group interventions with parents, caregivers, children and young people with additional needs up to the thresholds for social care involvement to improve outcomes for children and families.
• Work in partnership with parents to strengthen parental capacity and family relationships.
• Increase parental engagement in the local community and in children’s education.

Qualifications

Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position. The salary offer will be based on the candidate’s number of years experience in the exact or comparable position and additional preferred qualifications will be taken into account.

Pay

$36,370‑$41,237

Schedule

Monday through Friday between 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (7.5‑hour shift)
