Family and Cultural Inclusion Liaison, Interpreter and Translator

Responsibilities

• Utilize oral and written skills to assist staff in communicating with students and parents
• Cook up activities to build on family/student strengths
• Facilitate support groups and set up workshops for parents
• Work with parents/students to discuss home learning activities, make referrals to agencies, arrange for and make home visits, and coordinate outreach
• Aid in compiling needs assessments and parent surveys
• Collaborate with the building principal to develop a yearly outreach program
