Family Advocacy Treatment Manager (LCSW or LMFT)

About the role

The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is seeking a Full-Time Family Advocacy Treatment Manager to support the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) at the 375th Medical Group on Scott AFB in Belleville, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional clinical social work or marriage and family therapy services in support of the Family Advocacy Program (FAP).
• Design, develop, maintain, implement, and evaluate clinical services for installation FAP.
• Serve as an installation clinical subject matter expert (SME) providing consultation to installation leadership and medical professionals regarding needs assessment, determining clinical intervention requirements, and developing implementation strategies.
• Perform case management, risk and clinical assessments, and crisis intervention to prevent and treat child maltreatment and spouse/intimate partner abuse serving beneficiaries scattered over a large geographical area.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must have and maintain active clinical privileges for the duration of employment.
• Must have two years of experience working in the field of child abuse and domestic abuse as an independent Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
• Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work independently in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S Virgin Islands.
• Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice marriage and family therapy independently in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S Virgin Islands.

Qualifications

• At a minimum, qualification requirements stipulated by the US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for the 0185 occupational series must be met for Social Workers.
• At a minimum, qualification requirements stipulated by the US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for the 0101 occupational series must be met for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists.

Skills

• Ability to provide clinical social work or marriage and family therapy services.
• Experience in designing, developing, maintaining, implementing, and evaluating clinical services.
• Knowledge of family advocacy programs and child abuse prevention.
• Ability to perform case management, risk and clinical assessments, and crisis intervention.

Pay

$91,779 - $119,315 based on experience.
