[Fall/Winter 2026-2027] Middle School Cheer Assistant Coach

About the role

The Middle School Cheer Assistant Coach will support the Middle School Cheerleading program at New York, NY - Multi-Site. This position is part-time and seasonal, working during the school year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading cheerleading practices and competitions
• Work closely with the Middle School Cheerleading team coach to ensure the success of the program
• Support the development and implementation of cheerleading routines
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all participants

Requirements

• Experience coaching cheerleading or related sports
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for supporting young athletes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of cheerleading techniques and safety protocols
