[Fall/Winter 2026-2027] Middle School Cheer Head Coach

About the role

The Middle School Cheer Head Coach will lead a team of cheerleaders in New York, NY across multiple sites. This position is part-time and seasonal, focusing on school year programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cheerleading routines that align with the school's values and mission
• Train and mentor cheerleaders to improve their skills and performance
• Manage the cheerleading program budget and resources
• Collaborate with other school staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for the cheerleaders

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in cheerleading coaching
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (optional but preferred)
• Previous experience working with middle school students

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
