Fall Intern - Social Media and Marketing

This is an in-office internship located in Baltimore, MD.
Schedule
Monday - Thursday; 12-20 hours per week.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook).
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms.
- Comfortable on camera and experienced with short-form video content creation and basic editing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a proactive, self-starter mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar design software.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Buffer).
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
- Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, iMovie, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
- Prior experience or coursework in marketing, healthcare communications, or community outreach.
- Genuine passion for disability services, mental health, or social impact work.
Clearances
- Child Abuse Clearance.
- Criminal clearance.
- Fingerprint-based federal criminal history.
- Verification that the employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.
Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience.
