Fall Intern, Podcast Producer - Part Time

What You’ll Do
- Aid in producing a number of existing shows, guided by more experienced producers.
- Support production teams by researching sources for ongoing series, coordinating remote or in-studio booking requests, etc.
- Identify, edit, produce, and curate interesting promotional and archival audio clips.
- Learn to edit audio in ProTools and design social media content in Photoshop, Headliner, or Canva.
- Attend team meetings and collaborate creatively.
- Take photos after recordings, archive them, and edit them for use.
- Perform other duties as required.
What You’ll Need
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Open to current students enrolled at a university (preferred if graduating by September 2027) or recent graduates who graduated within the last year.
- Preferred current or previous enrollment in communications classes.
- Prior internship or working experience in radio/podcast/TV/Film production industry.
- Experience with digital media systems, a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and G Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets) and Zoom conferencing software.
- Experience with ProTools or other audio editing software preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with SiriusXM and Earwolf programming and a passion for podcasts – bonus points if you’re already making your own!
- Commitment to excellent storytelling and thoughtful audio story creation.
- Flexibility, resilience, and a can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, especially in a remote environment.
- Attention to detail and strict adherence to podcast standards and ethics.
- Strong spelling, grammar, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
