About the role

The AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience for college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. In the Business Services Department, interns will gain insight into sourcing and procurement best practices, with a focus on supplier data analytics and IT product research. The intern will collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Presents, and AEG Sports Teams, contributing to strategic initiatives in sourcing, supplier data analysis, technology product research, and procurement operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives across departments
  • Assist IT with procurement-related data and performance metrics
  • Conduct supplier data analytics reviews and generate actionable reports
  • Research and evaluate technology products for procurement consideration
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback
  • Confirm vendor certification and/or membership status
  • Update department spreadsheets and procurement dashboards
  • Review and report on supply chain constraints and opportunities
  • Identify and assess potential vendors and product solutions
  • Process purchase orders, maintain filing systems, and track order status
  • Follow up with suppliers to confirm or adjust orders as needed
  • Provide support for various analyses and report creation

Qualifications

  • Good customer service and vendor relations skills
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

The AEG Internship Program requires a minimum commitment of 18 hours per week during the fall.

Pay

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule

Part-time, minimum 18 hours per week (on-site in Los Angeles)
