About The Role

The Lawfare Institute is seeking an intern to join its editorial team. As a remote position with the possibility of coworking in Washington, D.C., the intern will assist with running and maintaining the Lawfare website. Responsibilities include monitoring national security and foreign policy developments, writing "Today on Lawfare," co-writing deep-dive analytical pieces, and providing research support. The intern will also help maintain the site by tagging and categorizing posts, tracking relevant events, and assisting with podcast production.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate students in their sophomore, junior, or senior year
  • Strong writing, analytical, and research skills
  • Excellent verbal and organizational skills
  • Preferred prior independent research or experience as a research assistant
