Responsibilities
- Aiding with administrative tasks such as data analysis, tracking media output and engagement numbers, sending thank-you notes, and donation acknowledgments.
- Supporting educational programming efforts, including creating informational one-pagers, graphics, social media content, webinars, and managing NJN’s podcast, PeaceCast.
- Conducting research and contributing to op-eds or blog posts for the NJN website.
- Participating in protest and event planning, particularly for NJN’s Fall Gala, which takes place in mid-October.
- Maintaining online database records.
Qualifications
- Current student (junior or senior preferred) or recent graduate with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in Israeli-Palestinian peace and American policy.
- Demonstrated interest in civil rights and advocacy/organizing work.
- Strong organizational abilities and time-management skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical and administrative skills.
Time Commitment
The internship requires 10 hours per week from September 2nd through December 31st (dates flexible).
Compensation
This is a paid position at $15/hour and is mostly remote, with DC candidates preferred.
