About the role
The Co-op Program at Kokosing is designed to provide you with practical construction industry experience, the chance to work on value-added projects, connect with a mentor in your field of study, network with senior leaders, team members and other co-ops, and so much more. We are looking for students interested in a co-op experience for the Spring, Summer or Fall semesters. We are actively training the next group of leaders and need skilled team members who reflect our core values and culture of safety.
Responsibilities
- Work with Full Time construction professionals as they provide guidance and share their expertise on various tasks.
- Structure your work efforts to help you learn about your area of interest while contributing directly to the completion of a quality project.
- Be assigned a mentor for any questions or support you may need during your co-op.
- Present on the culmination of your learning and experiences during the term at the Co-op Capstone Event.
- Work in a laborer role as part of the construction crew if available, to gain field/trade experience.

Qualifications
Students interested in a co-op experience for the Spring, Summer or Fall semesters. Must be enrolled in a college or university and have completed at least one academic year.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow.
Benefits
Kokosing will host the Co-op Capstone Event, providing co-ops the opportunity to meet senior level management and includes some fun, interactive activities that showcase various aspects of the construction and engineering industry.

Compensation varies based on the specific role and location, but is competitive with industry standards.
Schedule
Opportunities are available for the Spring, Summer or Fall semesters, with specific start and end dates determined by project availability and personal preference.
Benefits
Depending on the distance from residence to your assigned location, a housing stipend for relocation or a mileage reimbursement for commuting may be provided.
