Fall 2026 Business Analytics Adjunct Faculty Position(s)
Responsibilities
Teaching needs in business analytics courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Responsibilities include:
- Teaching undergraduate or graduate courses, typically from 6:00 to 8:50 PM for undergraduate courses and 6:40 to 8:50 PM for graduate courses.
- Willingness to teach in person on campus in Queens or Manhattan during weekday daytime hours.
- Available to teach undergraduate courses on a two-day schedule, either Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday.
- Computer usage and application software familiarity is desirable.
- Expectation to train on the use of Canvas, the university's learning management system.
Course Information
Courses are offered during weekdays only and cover:
- Statistics (based on Excel)
- Business Analytics (based on Excel)
- Data Visualization (based on Tableau, Power BI, and R)
- Computer Language (based on Python)
- Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Advanced MS Office (Excel and Access)
Qualifications
A Master’s degree and prior teaching experience in the area or related field are preferred. Strong industry experience is strongly recommended.

Pay
The per course salary range for this position is $5,409 - $7,000. St. John’s University considers various factors when extending offers.
