Operations/Fab related roles
- Process Integration Engineer (PID): Analyze inline and EOL electrical data to determine causes for issues, collaborate with Integration, YED, and Process/Equipment engineers.
- Yield Excellence Engineer (YED): Develop defect inspection methodologies to deduce root cause of critical issues and innovate current techniques.
- Process Engineer (PE): Deliver robust and efficient semiconductor manufacturing through data-driven analytics and systematic problem-solving.
- Equipment Engineer (EE): Improve and maintain tool performance in a cleanroom environment, troubleshoot alarms, install and qualify new tools, and enhance tool uptime.
- Intelligent Manufacturing Engineer (MFG): Ensure timely delivery of high-quality wafers by optimizing productivity and efficiency through advanced technologies.
- Advanced Material Handling System (AMHS) Engineer: Focus on automated systems ensuring efficient wafer transfers.
- Quality Management Engineer (AQE): Support TSMC's quality systems by monitoring processes, analyzing manufacturing parameters, and contributing to product success.
- Product Engineer (PES): Analyze yield and process issues to support customer needs and drive improvements in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Mask Process/Equipment Engineer (EBO): Ensure the performance and reliability of photomask tools within advanced manufacturing operations.
- Central Start-Up (CST) Tool Install Engineer: Support the installation of manufacturing equipment and tools, develop improvement proposals, and present findings.
- Industrial Safety & Health (ISEP) Engineer: Promote workplace safety and environmental sustainability in advanced semiconductor facilities.
- Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) Engineer: Work on production line issues using machine vision tasks and learn agile software development.
Facility, Design & Construction roles
- Facilities Electrical Engineer: Support the operation and validation of electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, and generators.
- Facilities Mechanical Engineer: Assist in the operation and validation of mechanical systems, including cleanroom and non-cleanroom HVAC.
- Facilities Water Treatment Engineer: Support the operation and validation of water treatment systems, including ultrapure water and wastewater systems.
- Facilities Gas & Chemical Engineer: Assist in the operation and validation of gas and chemical systems, including chemical delivery and waste systems.
- Chemical System Construction Engineer: Manage systems for storing and distributing specialty and bulk chemicals and gases.
- Civil Structural Architectural (CSA) Engineer: Collaborate with construction teams to oversee concrete, steel structures, and architectural finishes.
- Electrical Systems Construction Engineer: Collaborate with construction teams on electrical systems ranging from low to high voltage installations.
- Water System Construction Engineer: Collaborate with construction teams on advanced ultra-pure water systems and wastewater treatment systems.
- Mechanical System Control Engineer: Collaborate with construction teams on HVAC, clean room systems, and process water systems.
Supporting function roles
- Information Technology (IT): Support IT infrastructure and operations.
- Quality & Reliability (QR): Ensure quality and reliability of products and processes.
