About the role
This position will supervise the Faith in Action initiatives within the Benedictine community. The Faith in Action - Program Manager will participate in program planning for community-based services with an emphasis in grant writing, reporting, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Participate in program planning for community-based services with an emphasis in grant writing, reporting, and compliance.
- Additional responsibilities may include marketing Faith in Action, volunteer coordination, client and associate coordination, and coordination with other local health, mental health, and allied health partners.
- Manages the Faith in Action programs, including volunteer services for senior citizens, transportation, meal services, and caregiver support.
- Manages policies and programs to ensure compliance with the grant, applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborates with the Executive Director on the grant budgeting process.
- Manages within the finalized defined budget and maintains accurate records and reports of expenditures to reflect the grant allocations.
- Identifies new grants to support the Benedictine community’s programming costs and to achieve fund development goals for the Faith in Action program.
- Assists with grant writing as needed.
- Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of a self-directed action plan with the client and/or family.
- Provides ongoing education, builds self-advocacy skills, and provides support.
- Promote the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or other healthcare-related field.
- Experience in home & community-based services.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Acceptable driving record that meets Benedictine requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory position in a non-profit healthcare/long-term environment.
- Previous experience in caregiver support, support planning, and outreach services.
- Experience in grant writing.
