Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Finance, Operations, Sourcing, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 5+ years of professional experience in Aerospace & Defense work or Project/Program Management

This position is for a Program Manager Level 4 within the Airborne Mission Systems portfolio. The PM will be responsible for managing the avionics mission computer development and qualification for an internal Lockheed Martin customer (IWTA/WAD).

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of program deliveries
• Track program cost, schedule, and performance
• Identify risks, provide mitigation plans, and collect and analyze program metrics
• Direct all phases of programs including coordinating the preparation of engineering change proposals, work statements, specifications, and operating budgets
• Participate in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, and financial terms/conditions
• Prepare for, participate in, and present at Program Management Reviews and Program Status Reviews
• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program issues, and implement solutions
• Manage competing priorities and communicate effectively within cross-functional teams

• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Active Secret Clearance
• PM Certification (CAM)
• Experience with Earned Value Management
• Experience in Aerospace & Defense industry
• Prior Program Management Experience
• Working knowledge of LM PM tool sets such as ROADS, PMM, VEMO, and similar
