About the role
The candidate will develop tools and applications for different audio technologies such as file format manipulation software for the PC environment and embedded audio applications for mobile phones. The role will require technical communication and product development between Faith’s Japanese Headquarters, the US Subsidiary Faith West Inc., and key worldwide partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop tools and applications for different audio technologies
- Technical communication and product development between Faith’s Japanese Headquarters, the US Subsidiary Faith West Inc., and key worldwide partners
- Expert C/C++ programmer with strong knowledge of Object Oriented programming
- Understanding of various audio/music file formats such as Midi, MP3, MP4 and AAC and knowledge of file parsing and manipulation
- In-depth knowledge of digital audio concepts such as Sample rate conversion, frequency equalization and audio compression/limiting
- Ability to work well with other engineering team, audio team and with customers
- Demonstrated ability to design, analyze and communicate complex technical solutions to others
- Capable of working in a structured development environment. Able to review, develop and document requirements, design and code
- Self-motivated and able to manage workload and take responsibility for meeting commitments and deadlines
Requirements
- BS in CS/EE and 4-5 years of software engineering experience
- Expert C/C++ programmer with strong knowledge of Object Oriented programming

Qualifications
- Familiarity with Multi-media authoring tools
- Embedded programming experience
- Japanese language expertise
