About the Role
The ELA/STEM Instructor provides integrated English Language Arts (ELA) and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) instruction to a diverse group of scholars in grades K-6. This role involves whole-class teaching, small group interventions, and individual instruction to enhance scholars' academic performance and address specific educational needs.

Responsibilities
- Provide English Language Arts and STEM instruction to a class of scholars in grades K-6.
- Track and compile data of results for funding purposes.
- Meet regularly with a team of certified teachers.
- Ensure daily availability of one-on-one and small group language arts instruction and interventions.
- Identify individual scholar academic needs and skill deficits.
- Report academic progress and data to families and the full-time team.
Requirements
- Current Certified K-12 Educator (preferred).
- 2 or more years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Ability to pass a BCI/FBI Background Check.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
Pay
Up to $35/hour (rate dependent on experience and qualifications).
Schedule
Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:00 PM - 4:15 PM.
