Job Description
The successful candidate will focus on analyzing existing human elective surgery, trauma transcriptomic, and other omics datasets to advance understanding of age-related differences in immune function and recovery following injury. This research is expected to span a two-year period and will involve the interpretation of complex biological data, development of research hypotheses, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams of clinicians and scientists.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess an M.D./Ph.D. degree and have a strong background in clinical medicine, bench research, and experimental design.
- Applicants should demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment and have an interest in partnering with individuals from diverse professional backgrounds, including both clinicians and basic scientists.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with evidence of effective scientific writing, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in the English language.
