Faculty Recruiter
Job Summary
The Faculty Recruiter is responsible for providing overall management of the faculty recruitment process for a subset of departments within the School of Medicine and Public Health. This includes recruitment, marketing and outreach, appointment processing and onboarding of new faculty. The incumbent is expected to employ strategies to attract both passive and active job seekers to fill faculty roles and establish a talent pipeline.
Additional Position Details
This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding. This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience working in Human Resources with demonstrated career progression in navigating and providing consultation on recruitment policies and/or processes
- Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies to manage the full recruitment lifecycle, maintain accurate candidate records, and support efficient hiring processes
- Experience contributing to improvements in customer support, documentation, or compliance metrics; preferably through processes or workflows related to recruitment
- Education: Associate’s Degree, Preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working directly within an academic and/or healthcare environment is strongly preferred
- Experience working within a multi-person process or workflow
Compensation
The starting salary for the position is $80,000 annually; but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
