Qualifications

• Doctoral-level degree in medicine (MD or DO)
• Board certified or board eligible in the relevant pediatric specialty
• Qualified for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Meet minimum position credentials for the pediatric specialty to provide clinical service

Responsibilities

• Patient care
• Teaching
• Research (as determined by the chairman and associated division chief)

Rank requirements

• Assistant Professor: 1–6 years of experience with demonstrated academic progress/contributions in the pediatric specialty
• Associate Professor: 7–10 years of experience with significant demonstrated academic progress/contributions in the pediatric specialty
• Professor: 10 or more years of experience with clear demonstration of leadership, academic excellence, and innovation in the pediatric specialty

Positions are available at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level in the non-tenure appointment stream. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and academic credentials.
