The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania are seeking candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certification or board eligibility in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
Responsibilities
- Teaching hematology/oncology fellows, residents, and medical students (100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching required for the academic clinician track)
- Caring for patients with classical hematologic disorders and hematologic malignancies (focus on multiple myeloma and plasma cell disorders is of particular interest)
- Engaging in clinical investigation (experience and/or advanced training in the conduct of clinical trials is not required)
- Providing management and/or leadership
