About the role
The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching hematology/oncology fellows, residents, and medical students
- Providing clinical care for patients with classical hematologic disorders and hematologic malignancies
- Engaging in clinical investigation (optional; experience in clinical trials not required)
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certification or board eligibility in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
Qualifications
- 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching (academic clinician track requirement)
- Focus on multiple myeloma and plasma cell disorders is of particular interest
