About the role
The newly launched Department of Host-Microbe Interactions at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Faculty Member (Assistant, Associate, or Full) with research interest in the field of host-microbe interactions. Preference will be given to individuals with research programs focused on microbial interactions with the immune system.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality, impactful research in host-microbe interactions
- Mentor students and junior faculty members
- Pursue transformative collaborative research
Requirements
- MD, MD/PhD, or PhD degree
- Postdoctoral experience
- Documented evidence of high-quality, impactful peer-reviewed publications
- A strong commitment to mentoring
- An interest in pursuing transformative collaborative research

- Research focus on microbial interactions with the immune system
