The University of Minnesota Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery welcomes applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor on the academic or clinician track (as determined by qualification and interest) in laryngology.
Position Highlights
- Join a large, well-established multidisciplinary team, including two faculty laryngologists and seven dedicated speech pathologists with specific expertise in voice and upper airway disorders.
- Work closely with multiple swallow-focused speech pathologists.
- Practice full-time in laryngology at the University of Minnesota Medical Center/M Health in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

About the Department
The University of Minnesota Department of Otolaryngology has been treating patients, conducting research, and educating the next generation of otolaryngologists for over 130 years. The department is home to more than 40 physicians providing the latest in patient care through the University of Minnesota Physicians – our clinical practice made up of more than 700 university doctors. Our physicians diagnose and treat a wide variety of ear, nose and throat problems. Most have special training and/or conduct research in an area of expertise.
Members of the department regularly collaborate with colleagues in areas like pediatrics and oncology to provide the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options, as well as groundbreaking research opportunities.

M Health and Clinical Partnerships
This position is dually employed by the University of Minnesota Physicians (UMP) and will require a separate application in UMP's employment system.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: This role is dually employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Total base salary range is between $300,000-$500,000, with salary negotiable depending on factors such as prior experience or specific areas of expertise. Total salary is competitive with market and based on AAMC salary benchmarks.
