About the role
FSU/Lee Health is seeking an OB/GYN Faculty Physician to support the FSU College of Medicine OB/GYN Residency Program at Cape Coral Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Teaching, supervising, and evaluating obstetrics and gynecology residents using real-time face-to-face feedback
- Participating in remediation of residents
- Participating in resident’s didactic conferences including M&M, journal club, etc.
- Dedicated protected administrative time
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as respective Board Certification (or Board Eligibility as appropriate)
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida, or ability to obtain this prior to start date
- Clear, unrestricted DEA/DMAT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of starting in position
- Minimum 3 years experience in a teaching or faculty capacity with a graduate medical education program
- Current BLS/ACLS credentials through the American Heart Association
- Must comply with all ACGME core faculty requirements
