About the role

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in the clinical management of patients with complex oral medicine conditions
  • Provide instruction and mentorship to students in the diagnosis and treatment of oral medicine cases
  • Promote an innovative blended-learning environment that complements the college's Small Group Learning predoctoral curriculum
  • Serve as a clinical content expert for specialty training programs

Requirements

  • A DDS/DMD degree or its foreign equivalent
  • Completion of specialty training in Oral Medicine in the U.S.
  • An active dental license and/or qualifications for a restricted faculty license
  • A minimum of five years of teaching experience with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentorship
  • Certification by the American Board of Oral Medicine is highly preferred
