Summary Of Responsibilities

Teaches a full load of courses (5/5) in the Department of Communication.
Prepares instructional materials (course outlines, syllabi, exams, etc.) as necessary.
Devotes time outside of the classroom to assist and mentor students.

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

• Graduation from a regionally accredited institution with an appropriate degree in a related field to the coursework being taught.
• Knowledge and skill in current instructional theories, strategies, techniques, and discipline content.
• See preferred qualifications for discipline or program-specific minimum qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Communication or related field & Communication course teaching experience.
• Evidence of online course design and teaching.
• Teaching strengths should complement the current departmental curriculum.
