Faculty, Dance School - Extended Learning

Position Details

Work Year: 10.5 Months
School Year: 2026-2027
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM; Saturday, hours between 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Hours may vary depending on course
Minimum Hourly Rate*: $40.00/Hour - Compensation commensurate with qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience teaching dance.
• Professional dance performance experience.
• Ability to motivate students and inspire their love and learning of dance.
• Demonstrated success in working with young dancers in a group setting.
• Confident, positive, helpful and professional demeanor in working with others, using tact, discretion, and diplomacy at all times.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills: verbal, non-verbal, listening and written.
• Willingness to collaborate and learn from teaching colleagues.
• Enthusiasm and commitment towards continual professional development.
• Able to take direction and respond positively to feedback from supervisors.
• Maintain professionalism in attendance, timeliness, conduct, and appearance.
