Faculty – Business Management Program Lead

Role Summary

This full-time faculty position focuses on teaching upper-division Business Management courses with a Salon Emphasis, primarily through online and hyflex modalities. The role involves developing curriculum, assessing student achievement, and adapting teaching strategies to support diverse learners. Faculty advise students, participate in college committees, and collaborate with advisory boards to maintain curriculum integrity and enhance program quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach 45 credits annually, including developing and updating courses and syllabi.
• Employ varied teaching methods to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
• Assess student performance and document instructional modifications.
• Maintain office hours and engage in student advisement.
• Participate in curriculum review, professional development, and college activities.
• Collaborate with external partners and support institutional initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Business or related field.
• Five+ years of experience in the Beauty, Spa, Cosmetology, Hospitality, or related industry.
• Prior teaching experience preferred, with familiarity in online education and Canvas.
• Strong communication, computer, and technology skills, including AI literacy.
• Commitment to professional development and college standards.
