Education
A Bachelor's Degree in Vocational Education or a related discipline.
Required Experience
- Six (6) years trade experience in building construction, specializing in concrete and masonry, to include estimating and management experience in residential and commercial construction.
- Required Teaching experience at the secondary or postsecondary level.
Preferred Abilities And Skills
- Ability to qualify for and successfully complete the Occupational Competency Examination in the teaching specialty area.
- Preferred Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with students, staff, faculty, and the public.

Additional Responsibilities
- Contribute to the betterment of the College through College-wide committee participation.
- Aid in the development of grant proposals and follow-up activities.
- Some lifting not to exceed 40 lbs. may be required.
- Some work from ladders and scaffolds may be required.
Pay
Commensurate with credentials submitted as applied to the College’s Faculty Salary System. As a point of reference, the salary range for new full-time faculty hired in various disciplines throughout the College for the 2026/27 academic year is $63,747 - $81,694.

- Teach theory and lab courses on residential and commercial building methods and techniques in the areas of masonry and concrete and estimating and management.
- Provide coordination and supervision for instructional field projects.
- Advise, schedule, and maintain accurate records on students.
- Maintain office hours according to contractual guidelines.
- Write and update course syllabi; assist with curriculum review, revision, and development.
- Assume responsibility for laboratory development, coordination, and maintenance.
- Engage in professional development and technological upgrading activities.
- Contribute to the betterment of the College through school committee participation.
