About the role

This position is available at the Phillips 66 Platteville plant, where you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various plant processes and equipment. The role involves a 7-on/7-off rotating shift schedule, and successful completion of an online assessment is required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and troubleshoot gas compression, cryogenic processing units, liquid handling systems, treatment systems, utility systems, and storage and truck racks.
  • Conduct routine inspections and make adjustments to ensure proper product specifications.
  • Respond to alarms and address issues within the plant.
  • Perform routine inspections of equipment and facilities, including equipment health, security, AVO, and safety.
  • Carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs on fixed equipment such as filters, strainers, dehydration systems, and other machinery.
  • Participate in training programs, risk management reviews, and safety meetings to comply with regulations and company policies.
  • Complete documentation such as timesheets, work orders, safe job plans/work permits, and regulatory reports.
  • Optimize work processes and adhere to the Maintenance Work Process (MWP) and S.A.F.E. principles.
  • Work independently and adapt to varying weather conditions and shifts.
  • Maintain facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices.
  • Perform regulatory-required inspections.
  • Oversee contractors providing specialty services like Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
  • Read and comprehend technical procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Write technical reports and present information to managers and plant personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Licensed to work in the United States.
  • Ability to climb various heights and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance, instrumentation, and electrical work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a tech school training program.
  • At least 1 year of operational experience in the oil and gas or related industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance, instrumentation, and electrical work.

Skills

  • Technical proficiency in reading and understanding technical procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards.

Benefits
