About the role
This position is Perdiem and will work 8-hour, variable shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provides maintenance services throughout the Providence Holy Cross Service area.
- Performs repairs on electrical equipment.
- Makes repairs to air conditioning controls, plumbing, drain snaking, carpentry, painting, and plastering.
- Maintains all Providence Buildings in the San Fernando Valley Service Area.
Requirements
- Coursework/Training: 2 Year Trade School Degree or Certificate, Major Study: Vocational Training in mechanical, air conditioning, electrical, welding, automotive etc., combined with 3 years of experience with Commercial or Industrial building maintenance.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial maintenance and repair experience (such as Hospital, Hotel, High Rise buildings).
- Certification: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications: Upon hire, EPA 608.
