Responsibilities
- Attend meetings and training classes to stay updated on building policies and procedures.
- Evaluate facilities’ procedures to ensure safety and establish new safety guidelines.
- Maintain inventory of all equipment and tools.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid NC driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Experience in maintenance of commercial or residential facilities preferred.
- Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs and to stand, bend, stoop, and climb stairs for long periods.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Flexible schedule to include different shifts revolving around event schedule as needed, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional interaction with fellow employees and general public.
- Participation in an on-call rotation for building emergencies.
