Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is a Full-Time Regular position at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club. The position is available between 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm, five times a week.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and repairs to resort equipment, including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, kitchen equipment, interior, paint and decorating.
• Respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Operate with little to no direct supervision.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on laundry, kitchen, and HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guestrooms, public areas and on all assigned equipment.
• Repair all malfunctioning mechanical devices.
• Respond to room repairs regarding carpentry, electrical, plumbing, carpeting, painting, and furniture repair.
• Maintain pools and spas.
• Maintain key control systems and participate in re-keying of facility as needed.
• Assist with cleaning of mechanical spaces, engineering shops and other general areas.
• Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
• Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years previous experience in related field.
• Advanced technical knowledge of building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of CMMS.
• Ability to operate computer and related equipment (pads, tablets, PCs, etc.).
• A valid driver's license.
• Fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required to drive company licensed vehicles.

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
