Facility Technician I

Clean Harbors Astoria, IL is seeking a Facility Technician to perform hands-on operations. This role is ideal for college students or recent high school graduates looking to gain work experience.

Schedule

1st shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Perform daily tasks including drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and offloading trucks.
• Complete and submit all associated paperwork for waste tracking movements, including using scanning applications.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
