Facility Supervisor

About the role

The Facilities Supervisor manages hourly field Technicians, day-to-day maintenance of physical buildings, vendor relationships, and support of capital projects. They ensure the effective functioning of facilities across multiple states to provide an efficient and safe working environment for employees by using best business practices to manage resources, services, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with center operations to execute on organizational strategic pillars.
• Support the development and implementation of best practices for the field team to drive results, including monthly technician schedules and effective communication between Facilities and Operations to ensure accountability to corporate initiatives.
• Manage third-party service providers, including scheduling work and communicating scope and timing of repairs and projects with operational leadership to minimize business impact.
• Ensure efficiency and productivity of all Facilities Technicians, overseeing weekly scheduling, preventative maintenance routines, corrective maintenance, and execution of Facility’s commitment to excellence.
• Develop contractor and vendor relationships for corrective and planned facilities services to maintain a cost-competitive environment while adhering to service level expectations.
• Act as a subject matter expert for center operations and the Facilities team through proactive communication with local operations partners and interaction with Licensing Representatives to ensure compliance with all facility-related regulations and CPSC playground safety regulations.
• Manage maintenance and building-related functions associated with operating and closed school locations.
• Plan and recommend capital equipment purchases to support and improve the portfolio of facilities.
• Proactively communicate and provide feedback for continuous improvement of processes and procedures to drive Facilities toward a high-performing preventative and responsive repair program.
• Schedule travel as needed to fulfill job requirements and provide in-person time with Facility Technicians, operations partners, and service providers.
• Ensure a safe working environment for all employees through commitment to company safety policies and procedures.
