Facility Services Sales Executive (Columbus)

We specialize in making buildings perform at their best through HVAC, electrical, automation, plumbing, and energy-focused solutions—from system design and installation to optimization, retrofits, and ongoing support. The Facilities Services Sales Executive is responsible for driving growth within Brewer-Garrett's Facility Services division through the development and sale of new multi-year Facility Services Agreements (FSA). This role focuses on generating new business opportunities for integrated facility management solutions, including on-site facility management, energy services, and HVAC/electrical assured service programs.
Responsibilities
- Business Development / Sales
- Prospect and identify target customers that present opportunities for Facility Services Agreements.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
- Target executive-level decision-makers including CEOs, CFOs, and COOs of organizations with significant facility footprints.
- Qualify prospective customers to determine organizational fit, project readiness, and alignment with Brewer-Garrett's service model.
- Solution Development
- Lead internal teams to assess project scope, review financial data, and develop financial models demonstrating cost savings/value to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and energy services teams to develop comprehensive service solutions.
- Identify opportunities where capital Energy Services projects may complement Facility Services Agreements.
- Proposal Development / Closing
- Prepare and present detailed proposals outlining Facility Services Agreement programs, including financial and operational benefits.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service agreements with prospective clients.
- Close new agreements and coordinate handoff/transition to Operations teams for implementation.
- Account Management / Relationship Management
- Maintain strong ongoing relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities within existing customer accounts.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding facility services and operational needs.
- Administrative
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, CRM/contact management records, and booking documentation.
- Complete all necessary internal paperwork related to sales bookings, commissions, forecasting, and reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of business-to-business solution sales experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of service sales experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of cold-calling/business development experience required.
- Proven success selling complex service or technical solutions preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Working Conditions
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The position requires regular travel by car to perform the required functions, with occasional travel by airplane. Must be able to drive and travel to various locations, local, regionally, and outside of Ohio.
