Facility Service Technician

About the role

The Facility Services Technician is responsible for all work-related activities in relation to the cleanliness of restrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, non-process halls, offices, lunchrooms, common areas, and laundry facilities. The role requires balancing time and priorities, given fluctuations in processing, while adhering to established procedures for effective food safety protection. The technician must adapt to changing customer or internal requirements to meet processing needs. Any issue that could compromise food or personnel safety must be approved or analyzed by an authorizing manager before resolution.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the front office, breakroom, locker room, and other common areas
• Clean all restrooms
• Launder, fold, and sort uniforms
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory and processing sanitary needs (gloves, hair nets)
• Perform end-of-day hygiene sweep of the entire processing plant – remove waste and debris
• Comply with all food safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and process efficiencies
• Report any food safety issues to a manager
• Follow all workplace safety procedures per safety training
• Complete all daily sanitation logs
• Store all cleaning supplies and tools at the end of each shift
• Assist co-workers as needed
• Comply with Food Safety and GMP requirements at all times

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Processing experience preferred

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Flexibility required to adjust schedule as needed
