Responsibilities

• Contribute to Vitalant’s life-saving mission by overseeing the coordination of warehouse supplies, vehicles, and facility requirements.
• Ensure proper maintenance, repair, and environmental conditions of buildings and grounds.
• Support management in achieving collection goals and ensuring cost-effective operations.

Requirements

• Customer-focused and impact-inspired to help others.
• Experience in managing warehouse supplies, vehicles, and facility requirements.
• Ability to maintain building utility functions, uphold cleanliness, and create a conducive working environment for employees.
• Knowledge of inventory management, including reordering and stocking.
• Experience in managing procurement, requisitioning, inspection, and quality control of materials and supplies.
• Ability to manage facility vehicles in optimal condition by conducting evaluations, scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs, and ensuring annual inspections within DOT compliance.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel to Baton Rouge and Morgan City. The employee will be responsible for delivering supplies and completing other work-related tasks using a company vehicle.

Pay

$18.34 – $24.24 per hour
