Facility Operations Manager 2
Description of Work
This position oversees the operation, safety, and maintenance of several Commission facilities while ensuring building systems work properly and meet all regulations. The role supports projects, inspections, and contractor work to keep facilities safe and dependable. As a Facility Operations Manager 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Facility Oversight: Manage preventative maintenance, repairs, and safety checks for multiple Commission facilities
- Systems Management: Direct the operation and monitoring of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical building systems
- Contract Supervision: Review contractor work, evaluate service agreements, and ensure compliance with performance standards
- Safety Compliance: Identify hazards, support corrections, and help maintain adherence to fire codes and safety regulations
- Project Support: Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and improvements that strengthen operational reliability
- Record Maintenance: Maintain logs, reports, and documentation related to inspections, repairs, and regulatory requirements
Work Schedule and Additional Information
Full-time employment
Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, less than 50% of time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Bellefonte.
The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
